How to Adjust the Time of the Watch?

Dec 26,2022/Maintenance

There will be some problems more or less when the watch is used for a long time, the most common one is inaccurate travel time. So, if the time of mens luminous wrist watches is not accurate, how should you adjust it? Why does the watch keep stopping? Next, we will analyze it for you.

Ⅰ. How to adjust the time of mens luminous wrist watches?

1. Twist the handle

Turn the crown of the watch down to loosen it, and up.

2. Pull out a handle

Pull out the knob on the left side of the men's luminous watch, and turn it up to adjust its date.

3. Adjust the time

Pull out the two rows of handles on the left side of the watch and turn it up to adjust its time.

4. Tighten the handle

After the adjustment, push the head up, turn it up, tighten the head, and you can successfully change the time.

Ⅱ. Why do mens luminous wrist watches always stop?

1. External influence refers to various influences from the outside of the men's luminous watch, which lies in the working environment of the watch. Common external hazards include: gravity, environmental temperature hazards, watch water seepage, etc. These phenomena will cause the watch to stop unconsciously.

2. Another key reason is that the secondary outer side of the hairspring rubs against the outer pile of the hairspring. After the hairspring is deformed, it is easy to be prohibited when leaving. For such a thing, it is necessary to adjust the gap between the second outer side of the hairspring and the outer pile of the hairspring. Let there be an effective and safe distance between them, etc. At this time, a more professional watch repairman can adjust it to return to normal.

3. If the automatic mechanical watch stops, it may be due to long-term contact with electronic products and it will be magnetized. Once the watch is magnetized, it must be demagnetized by a watch repair shop to clean the magnetism in the men's luminous watch.

4. The weak start is one of the reasons why the watch stops. It may be that the mechanical energy consumption is light caused by long-term storage, which may cause the watch to stop; especially for fully automatic mechanical watches, because the automatic watch must rely on the shaking of the wrist. It is self-winding and must be worn for more than eight hours a day to ensure accurate timing. Therefore, it is suggested that everyone must wind up the mechanical watch regularly to ensure sufficient power.

Ⅲ. Do mens luminous wrist watches need to be wound manually?

Generally speaking, it only takes 30 strokes for a mechanical watch to be wound normally, which is almost full. Because most of the automatic watches can be wound by hand, especially when worn for the first time or after stopping.

But for mechanical watches, a fully wound mainspring can generally make mens luminous wrist watches run for more than 30 hours, up to eight days or more.

If you want the watch to run continuously, pay special attention to tightening the mainspring anytime and anywhere. However, tightening the mainspring too much can also damage the watch, so it is generally recommended that the mainspring only need to be fully wound once a day.

Ⅳ. Do mens luminous wrist watches need to be maintained?

Daily maintenance of the watch is a must. For watch maintenance, remember not to dry the watch mirror close to an open flame immediately to prevent heat deformation.
